Refunds & Returns Policy

At HydraBoost™, we want you to feel confident ordering from us. We stand by the quality of our products and are always here to help if something isn’t right.

Please take a moment to read the information below, as it explains when refunds or returns apply.

 

Change of Mind

We understand that sometimes circumstances change. However, we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind, including but not limited to:

▪️ Deciding you no longer want the product after delivery

▪️ Misunderstanding or misinterpreting a promotion

▪️ Expecting additional free items beyond what was eligible

▪️ Ordering the wrong item or ordering in error

▪️ Compatibility issues where information was provided before purchase

We encourage customers to carefully review product details, compatibility information, and promotional terms before placing an order.

 

Change of Mind & Order Cancellations

We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind purchases as part of our standard returns policy.

However, at our sole discretion, we may choose to approve certain change of mind return or cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.

Any approved change of mind return or cancellation will incur a 15% administration and restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee helps cover payment processing charges, handling, inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs associated with the order.

Please note:

▪️ Original shipping costs are non-refundable
▪️ Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
▪️ Returned items must be unused and returned in original condition with all included accessories and packaging
▪️ Additional deductions may apply for opened, used, damaged, or missing consumable items, including filter cartridges

 

Promotions, Free Filters & Bonus Items

Promotional offers are limited strictly to the terms stated at the time of purchase.

▪️ Promotions apply per eligible product unit, unless clearly stated otherwise

▪️ Free or bonus items are not exchangeable, refundable, or redeemable for cash

▪️ Ineligible or duplicated promotional items added at checkout may be removed before dispatch

▪️ In some cases, removed promotional items may appear as “refunded” even though no payment was taken


HydraBoost™ reserves the right to amend orders prior to shipping to ensure promotions are applied correctly and fairly.

 

Tap Compatibility

Due to the wide variety of tap designs and thread types used across Australia, the HydraBoost™ Tap Filter is designed to fit most standard threaded taps but cannot be guaranteed to fit every tap configuration.

Customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility with their tap prior to purchasing. If you are unsure, we recommend contacting us with photos of your tap so our team can assist.

Products that do not fit a customer's tap are not considered faulty and are therefore not eligible for refunds or replacements.

Please note that once a filter cartridge has been opened or used it cannot be resold for hygiene reasons.

 

90-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We proudly offer a 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee for peace of mind.

This guarantee applies only to genuine product faults or defects and does not cover:

▪️ Incorrect installation

▪️ Misuse or damage caused by the user

▪️ Wear and tear

▪️ Change of mind

▪️ Compatibility issues where guidance was provided prior to purchase

Where a minor fault exists, we may offer a repair or replacement rather than a refund, in line with Australian Consumer Law.

 

12-Month Manufacturer’s Warranty

All HydraBoost™ tap filters and shower filter units are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects or genuine product faults and is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

What the Warranty Covers

▪️ Manufacturing defects

▪️ Faults that prevent the product from operating as intended under normal household use

Where a valid warranty claim is approved, HydraBoost™ may offer a repair or replacement, as appropriate.

 

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not apply to:

▪️ General wear and tear

▪️ Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage

▪️ Incorrect installation or failure to follow instructions

▪️ Use outside normal household conditions

▪️ Damage caused by water pressure issues, debris, or poor water quality

▪️ Modifications or repairs not authorised by HydraBoost™

▪️ Consumable items, including filter cartridges

Issues caused by the above are not considered manufacturing faults and are not covered under warranty.

 

Warranty Claims Process

To make a warranty claim:

1️⃣ Contact our Support Team at info@shophydraboost.com

2️⃣ Provide your order number and proof of purchase

3️⃣ Include clear photos or videos showing the issue

4️⃣ Allow our team to assess and troubleshoot where required

Products returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

 

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return (where applicable):

▪️ Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all components

▪️ All original packaging must be included

▪️ Filter cartridges must remain sealed

We strongly recommend confirming compatibility before unsealing any filters.


If a filter cartridge has been opened or used:

▪️ A $19.90 fee will apply to cover the cost of the filter

▪️ Return shipping costs will also apply

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

 

How to Request a Return or Refund

If you believe you’re eligible for a return or refund, please follow the steps below:

1️⃣ Review this policy to confirm eligibility

2️⃣ Email our Support Team at info@shophydraboost.com with your request

3️⃣ Provide clear photos or videos (if applicable) showing the issue

4️⃣ Wait for return instructions from our team before sending anything back

5️⃣ Inspection & outcome – once received, we’ll inspect the return and confirm the resolution

Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

 

Return Shipping

▪️ We do not provide return labels for change-of-mind or incompatibility returns

▪️ Customers are responsible for return shipping costs in these cases

▪️ This does not apply to confirmed faulty products

Non-Refundable Items

Unless faulty, the following items are not eligible for refunds:

▪️ Filter cartridges (hygiene and consumable item)

▪️ Products that have been installed, used, or altered

▪️ Items returned incomplete or without original packaging

▪️ Damage caused by incorrect installation or misuse

 

Chargebacks & Disputes

We always encourage customers to contact us first so we can help resolve any concerns.

HydraBoost™ maintains detailed order records and will dispute chargebacks where:

▪️ Items were supplied as described

▪️ Promotional terms were met

▪️ The request falls outside Australian Consumer Law requirements
